LENINGRAD OBLAST, 26 December (BelTA) – In a brief conversation with reporters Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko mentioned what he and President of Russia Vladimir Putin had talked about the day before, BelTA has learned.
Aleksandr Lukashenko said: “When an elder brother meets with a younger one, the topics are exceedingly versatile. We talked about everything: personal things and matters of state. We talked not only about interstate problems but also global ones. It was only appropriate. I conveyed greetings from the Middle East we’ve recently visited [visits to Oman and the UAE].”
BelTA reported earlier that Aleksandr Lukashenko met with Vladimir Putin on 25 December after an informal summit of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). The one-on-one conversation lasted for about 1.5 hours.
